Remember the slide show sent by AJ? I wonder about the following.
1. The guy has no human companion. A dog won't disagree with him, and if it did, he certainly will have the upper hand.
2. The picture of the guy with his dog at the beach looks good. Would it look as nice if the background is changed to something else, say, a busy street in Taipei?

The slide show is warm & the music is soothing. I think the whole thing tries to focus on the meaning of life & provide the Guidelines of Happiness. Everybody has his own definition of Happiness, so I like the wording "Guidelines". When you are getting older, you don't like to be alone all the time, you need companion who doesn't argue with you, so a good old dog is ideal. As to whether a busy street in Taipei is better than a beach, it depends on your taste. However, this may not be that important comparing to the message the slide show tries to convey:
1. Free your heart from hate
2. Free your mind from worry
3. Live simple
4. Give more
5. Expect less
Personally, I like items 3,4 & 5. It says so simple, means so much & you can actually do it everyday. The items 1 & 2 is easy to say but ... Otherwise our world will not be so messy & awful.
ps: I just watched "60 Minutes" of CBS last Sunday, it mentions Denmark is the happiest country in the world, ie the people there feel good, content & happy. One reason of the happiness is "they have less expectation". What a coincidence this is to item #5!
